The garden is open to the public from Wednesday through Sunday, March 5th through early November, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are not required on these days for self-guided tours.
Adult admission is $8
Tour groups: $6 per person by prior arrangement
Military: retired or active military with valid ID – $4.
Children: 12 and under, free.


Chase Garden is located in southeast Pierce County, about 6 miles southeast of Graham and about 6 miles southwest of Orting.  From 1-5, take 512 East to Canyon.  Take the Canyon exit to 176th Ave E and take a left.  Follow 176th to Meridian and take a right.  Follow Meridian through Graham to 264th St E (Look for the WDOT tourism sign) and take a left on 264th St. E.  Follow 264th for 3.5 miles and Chase Garden will be on your left.

Group Tours

Chase Garden is a great place to gather your group and enjoy an inspirational experience. With visits from garden clubs, book clubs, car clubs, artists, senior centers, and school groups, we are a destination for all groups. Guided group tours are offered March through June for groups of 8 or more people. Guided tours are available by advance reservation only. Please contact: or call 360-893-6739.

Garden Rental

Chase Garden is a beautiful setting for small outside weddings, family reunions and company picnics.  A great place for summer corporate retreats. (50 people max.)  Rental agreement 


We highly recommend you bring your camera! Photographs are a wonderful way to remember your visit to Chase Garden. We encourage visitors to take casual photographs for their own personal and noncommercial use.   Please note garden etiquette and do not step on plants or stand in beds to capture your photos.

Photographers taking photographs that will be used to promote Chase Garden in legitimate travel publications (travel, garden magazines, etc.) will not be required to pay a fee IF THE GARDEN IS CREDITED. This applies in most circumstances but not all. For exceptions please contact the Chase Garden Director at

Professional Photography:

Formal, photography would include weddings (that do not take place at the Chase Garden), reunions, engagements, proms, graduations and senior photos. Formal, posed photographs may only be taken in the outdoor garden areas. A Photography agreement must be submitted and approved prior to the photography session. Photography Agreement


A $25 scheduling fee will be collected, and must be pre-paid for each one hour session, in addition

to Chase Garden’s admission fees for each person participating in the photo session. The scheduling fee is non-refundable. In the event of adverse weather, you may reschedule your session. Please note: The house is not available as a changing or staging area.

Scheduling: Your formal, posed photography session must be scheduled at least one week in advance and will be scheduled during Chase Garden’s open hours unless prior arrangements are made with the garden Director.
